Benefits

Social Aspect
- To show concern for the environment by using natural energy available with us.
- To use as much natural energy as possible to promote environmental protection.
- To act as a hedge against rises in electricity bills to the customers.

Health aspect
It is a commitment to provide our customers a clean, free of pollutants & a green environment & by installing solar water heater we ensure it

Environment Aspect
Solar water heating system is eco-friendly. It does not emit any toxic, gases like carbon dioxide & sulphur dioxide. Renewable energy can be a cushion to ensure emission limits of toxic gases

Economic Aspect
Apart from routine maintenance cost, renewable energy equipments use fuel which is abundant in nature & free of cost. We need not worry about rise in fuel cost from time to time.

1 KW of solar energy saves 2500 Tones of CO2, 2 Tones of SO2 and 10 Tones of NO2

A Domestic Solar Water Heating System of capacity 100 ltrs per day can save 2000KWH of electricity every year

Solar Energy & Its Need

Sun is the only source of free & Abundant energy for today, tomorrow & in future as it is everlasting. The sun energy is clean, uninterrupted & Pollution free. The conventional sources of energy like coal, diesel, gas are depleting day by day because of limited availability of natural resources & deposits. Electricity is widely used at present. It is becoming costlier day by day. Hence alternate source of energy like solar energy needs to be explored and harnessed. Now the time has come not only to think of solar energy, but to implement it and get rid of future energy crises.

Typical Payback Calculations For Standard Domestic System

Capacity of the system 250 LPD at 60oC, Cost of the System : Rs. 36000/- Approx.
Heat Required in K. Cal. = Capacity X Temperature Difference
= 250 X 40oC ( assumed average Ambient Temperature : 20oC)
= 10,000 K.Cal
Comparing with electrical source of heating water
=Capacity X Temperature Difference / 860X 0.80(Efficiency of Electric Heater)
=10,000 / 668
=14.53 Units per Day
Considering rate of electricity to be Rs. 4 / - per unit and average output of 320 days.
Expanditure on electricity = 14.53 X 4 X 320 = 18598.40 per year
Hence , the pay back period will be : 36,000 / 18598.40 = 1.93 years
